The Normandy has the perfect vibe for foodie explorers like me! The nearby restaurants, especially the fabulous Bistrot Du Coin and the trendy Soho, truly hit the spot. Plus, the cheese & wine reception was an added treat! My room was a cozy nook in the bustling city.

Now, about the downsides, there was no parking to be found, which made checking in a hassle. I expected valet or at least some options, but nope! Oh, and the thermostat decided to go rogue, turning my sleep into a sauna session. Not cool!

We loved the walking tour to the National Mall and the Lincoln Memorial. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and comfy beds after our long days exploring.

Unfortunately, the coffee maker in our room only provided espresso pods, which didn't quite meet our morning coffee needs.
