A contemporary hotel in Washington. Room was spacious enough, apologetic staff. Location in a lovely area. The rooms were perfect & very tidy, the decoration was original.
Unfortunately wifi connection was weak.
-
We enjoyed our stay. Marble bathroom and a walk-in shower with good sewerage. Northwest district definitely deserves your time and attention.
-
A comfortable place for exploring Washington.
-
Staff and rooms could not have been more outstanding. Not to mention free Wi Fi. For dinner we visited Chartwell Grill, set only 800 ft away.
The bed was cheap.

I loved the esay freindly staff and the beautiful room that had lots of beaurtiful details, like n espresso machine beautiful fridge, robes, slippers great TV

Location is good for those capable of walking to restaurants, sites, and to the metro. On extremely hot days I would not recommend this hotel because of the distance to the national monuments. It is a quiet beautiful neighborhood. Very boutique! The staff is helpful and the evening social is supurb giving you a chance to meet and visit with travelers from around the world.
-
Staff very helpful. Small size friendlier feel than larger hotels. Quiet side street relatively close to daughter's apartment, fairly close to Metro. Room coffee machine and complimentary coffee in lounge. Very comfortable bed. Off-street garage. Better accomodations on 1st visit.
Needed larger closet and dresser drawers. Kept most clothes in suitcases stored under desk. Only 2 rooms available when booking--other options not available. Handsome sink but impractical--water splashed everywhere, including clothes. This room best for short stay.

The hotel has a very nice feel and the rooms are lovely. The location of the hotel is also great.
The breakfast is small and very over priced.
-
A lovely boutique and intimate hotel with great service and added special touches such as complimentary cheese and wine served every evening

From the minute we walked through the doors, we were entirely welcomed in beautiful and comfortable surroundings. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, funny, + gave great recommendations. The rooms are quiet, cozy and pretty! We really enjoyed all the little touches such as the candles, fresh flowers, happy hour, newspapers, front and back patios... And the neighborhood is beautiful and a great location! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying there and will recommend this special spot again!
Too bad the parking was not onsite, but it wasn't a big issue to park down the street at the Courtyard.

As British tourists on our first visit to Washington we were impressed with the quiet elegance of the hotel in a great residential location. The extra touches and the helpfulness of all the staff helped make our stay a memorable experience. The restful ambience encourages guests to browse the books, lounge on the front patio or relax with a coffee in the well-appointed rooms, whether on a business or leisure trip. A special "Thank you" to the reception staff who welcomed us in a friendly and informative manner.

Rooms were nicely decorated - bed was comfy & flat screen TV was great!
Rooms varied significantly in size (for same price). I had a very small room and would have liked a discounted rate.
-
Quiet,relaxing,clean,comfortable,great location,walk everywhere
The only issue was the continental breakfast was not included in room price. The breakfast was average not worth $16.00 per person. However, the staff did a great job keeping the food well presented and stocked.
-
Boutique hotel, nicely furnished, appointed
The bathroom lights were dim - difficult to see to put on make up. No magnifying mrror
-
boutique charm, location, value for the price
